Pemanfaatan Quizizz sebagai Alat Evaluasi Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas V SD

Abstract


The development of science supports the creation of new technologies. Including in Indonesia, every field has begun to utilise technology to facilitate work, including in the field of education. So with this in the framework of innovative schools, schools must respond to the growth of technology that continues to be more sophisticated, so that teachers can implement learning innovations through technology. However, when researchers conducted a preliminary study at SDN 4 Cilegon by conducting initial observations and teacher interviews, it was found that the school had not yet utilised technology, especially for learning evaluation tools. Educational assessments carried out by teachers still use conventional methods, namely with sheets of paper and are often only spoken. From the explanation that has been explained, the aim to be achieved in this study is to utilise technology with the Quizizz application as an update to the social studies learning evaluation tool in class VC SDN 4 Cilegon. Because in the Quizizz application there are interesting features, easy to access and minimise costs. It is hoped that the use of the Quizizz application will also have an impact on increasing learning motivation and learning outcomes in students. In the study, researchers then used a qualitative approach using class action research methods (CAR). Theresults obtained after the implementation of this study, namely in cycle I, students get an average score of 65.74 with a percentage of student completeness of 48.15%. Cycle II research increased where students got an average score of 80.14 and the percentage of student achievement was 74.1%. From the acquisition of these results, it can be said that it has succeeded in achieving the expected results. So with this, the research shows success, that the Quizizz application can improve the social studies learning outcomes of class VC students at SDN 4 Cilegon.
