Peran Guru dalam Penanaman Sikap Sosial melalui Pembelajaran IPS pada Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


Social attitudes are very important attitudes to be instilled in students and can be obtained through education and other institutions. Teachers play an important role in teaching and instilling social attitudes when students are at school, this is because the communication process between students and teachers takes place in the classroom during the teaching and learning process, one of which is through social sciences learning. In this study, we used a qualitative study with a case study approach and focused on the role of teachers in instilling social attitudes through social education in grade V students. The topics discussed in this study used topic 6 heat and its transmission and subtopic 1. Temperature and Warmth of Learning 4 in social sciences learning. In short, KD 3.2 and 4.2 have an analysis of the relationship between humans and the environment and its socio-cultural impacts and the economic development of the Indonesian people. In addition, researchers used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect data. The purpose of this study was to clarify the role of teachers in teaching social attitudes through fifth-grade social sciences. The results of this study showed that class teachers had carried out their roles by instilling several social attitudes in students, the social attitudes that were instilled were discipline, self-confidence, honesty, responsibility, caring, and politeness. The implications of this research can be used as a foundation for educators in tackling similar problems.
