Pembinaan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan melalui Program Bebas Sampah di SDN Loji 3 Kota Bogor

Abstract


Character education aims to form a person's efforts with conscious conditions to educate children's abilities to become better individuals, therefore there needs to be character education in every school. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The data in this study were obtained from observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. In this program there are several habits that are regulated by the State Elementary School of Loji 3 Bogor City such as bringing supplies from home, bringing cutlery and drinking bottles if you don't bring provisions, there are clean Friday activities, community service activities. The results showed that through the waste-free program, class V students' concern for the environment had increased. This can be seen from the questionnaire results, where the number of correct student responses is 82% of the total students. This programme is carried out with various activities such as class cleanliness pickets, a clean Friday programme, a community service programme, bringing lunch from home programme and mandatory programmes to bring cutlery and drinking bottles. This research is expected to be used as a recommendation for other schools in order to be able to solve problems regarding piles of garbage and also to foster an attitude of environmental concern for students.
