Implementasi Tata Tertib Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Karakter Siswa Kelas V SDN Pondok Jagung 03

Abstract


The method used by schools to help students learn is by following the rules and regulations. Students at school must participate in certain activities to maintain discipline and create an atmosphere in the school environment that is safe and comfortable. Students who obey school rules will make this country better in the future. SDN Pondok Jagung 03 in North Serpong, South Tangerang, implements rules and regulations for students at school, to develop students' individual potential and uniqueness with strong academic skills and training to strengthen student discipline. This research aims to determine the steps for implementing school rules and regulations in improving student character in social studies learning in fifth grade of SDN Pondok Jagung 03. The approach in this research is qualitative with a case study method. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that building student character through discipline can make students obedient to school regulations. This is what makes students salute and write their words calmly, be patient with each other, minimize instances of sibling rivalry or conflict, encourage their classmates to follow school rules, denounce criminal behavior, refuse help from other students or their teachers, and take down the gang that threatens them and their other classmates.
