Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring Menggunakan WhatsApp Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19 pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika Kelas V

Abstract


The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact, one of which is on the implementation of education in Indonesia, meaning that learning cannot currently be carried out face-to-face because learning must be carried out online. Online learning or what can also be called bravely is implemented so that the learning process can continue even during a pandemic. Even though the learning process is carried out boldly, the learning process carried out must still run effectively. This study has a purpose, namely to describe the implementation and effectiveness of online learning using WhatsApp media during the covid-19 pandemic in mathematics subjects in class v. A descriptive method with a quantitative approach is used in this study, which focuses on student activities and student responses to the implementation of online learning using WhatsApp media in mathematics subjects. The sample in this study were all fifth-grade students at SD N 1 Astanalanggar, which amounted to 30 students, the sample was selected using a total sampling technique because all fifth-grade students used WhatsApp media during online learning. The instruments used in this research are observation which aims to determine student activities during online learning and questionnaire instruments to determine the effectiveness of online learning through student responses. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of observations on student activities show an average score of 2.55 on a scale of 4 which means online learning is in the good category. While the effectiveness of online learning is based on four aspects, namely 1) the quality of learning, 2) the level of learning, 3) incentives, and 4) time shows a good average percentage so that the effectiveness of learning carried out online using WhatsApp media in mathematics subjects in class v are in the good category
