Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Inside Outside Circle (IOC) Terhadap Peningkatan Rasa Percaya Diri Siswa

Abstract


Self-confidence is a mandatory attitude that must be possessed by students, especially elementary school students. The attitude of self-confidence can be increased and grown with the help of the teacher, one way is by choosing a learning model. Some learning models that can be chosen by teachers are the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) model, the IOC model or it can also be called the outer circle model. This IOC model can be used by students to share information briefly and precisely. This study has a goal to answer whether there is an effect of choosing a learning model to increase students' self-confidence, especially with the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model. This research uses a mixed method with a sequential explanatory research design. The population and sample of this study were students who were at level IV of SDN Court 3. The data collection technique was carried out by questionnaires and interviews. After getting the data, then the data were analyzed by data normality test, and T-test, while the interview results were processed based on Miles and Huberman guidelines. The research that has been done shows that (1) there is an increase in students' self-confidence with a pretest score of 93 and a post-test score of 97, (2) there is an influence between the use of the IOC learning model and an increase in students' self-confidence after the test is carried out. t that the significant value is 0.03 which is smaller than 0.05.
