Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Kearifan Budaya Lokal Banten untuk Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


This study discusses the preparation of teaching materials based on Banten local wisdom by adjusting the themes and sub-themes in grade IV Elementary School, namely about plants. The purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials in elementary schools based on the local wisdom of Banten by integrating religious values and biodiversity conservation values in theme 3 sub-theme 1 about Animals and Plants in my home environment. This research is based on the facts seen by the researcher, namely the sourcebook used by teachers, especially in science subjects that follow national standards, there is no local wisdom integrated into the sourcebook. The method used in this research is Research and Development which consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis stage, the researcher conducted a needs analysis, namely analyzing the science learning process at the SD Pilot Laboratory UPI Serang Campus and the source books used, as well as analyzing the 2013 curriculum for elementary school. At the design stage, the researcher designs teaching materials based on needs analysis by integrating Banten local wisdom, namely plants in Banten, including those in Baduy, to introduce plant biodiversity to students. The findings of this study are the formation of teaching materials on plant biodiversity based on the local wisdom of Banten by integrating religious values and conservation values.
