Author Guidelines
The articles submitted to TARBAWY: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education will be considered for publication if they meet the following criteria:
1. Articles must be:
- On the scope of Islamic Education studies,
- Non-plagiarism,
- Never and not being published in the other journals,
- Prioritized on based empirical research,
- Written in Indonesia or English (using Garamond 12, 1.12 space, A 4, 12-15 pages)
- Submit to: https://ejournal.upi.edu/index.php/tarbawy/index
2. The identity of papers requires; title, full name(s) of the author(s), affiliation, email, abstract (150 words in one paragraph, at least it includes purpose, method, results of research, conclusion, impact), and keywords (3-5 words).
3. Title consists of no more than 15 words, written in Garamond 16 Bold.
4. The contents of papers consist of Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and Reference.
5. Introduction consists of background, literature review (showing the state of the art), purpose, and problem formulation.
6. Method explains the methods used in the research.
7. Result and Discussion informs many important data (original) field which obtained from the questionnaires, surveys, documents, interviews, observations, and other data collection techniques. It can be completed with table or graphics to clarify the result. All figures and tables should be centered and numbered consecutively. Tables (refer to Table 1, Table 2,…) should be presented above the table contain center alignment. A descriptive title should be placed after the table title (refer to Table 1, Table 2,…) above each table. The source of the table should be placed on the table in the right alignment. Figures and tables should be mentioned in the related text.
8. Conclusion: write succinctly and clearly the result of research then describes the logical consequence in developing science and praxis of Islamic education.
9. Reference consists of updated sources (no more than 10 years) from journal articles, books, research report, magazines, and newspaper. Citations uses the APA style sixth edition and uses reference manager of Mendeley/Zotero/Endnote.
10. Transliteration of Arabic to Latin refers to ALA-LC Romanization Tables.
