Author Guidelines
NOTES FOR CONTRIBUTORS
- Historia encourages systematic study and research in history education and history. Articles sent to the editor should be research-based, expert comment and analysis on the key issues on history and history education and its various aspects.
- The writer has responsible to the content of the text that he/she wrote. The correspondence about the text addressed to the writer by showing the institution, or the address of institution, and or the email address of the writer.
- Articles submitted to the Journal should normally be between 4,000 to 8,000 words or between 10-17 pages with single space and should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 300 words, containing the importance of the topic, the gap between theory and practice or between reality and expectation, or lacks of studies, objectives of the present study, method, findings, and conclusion.
- The text arranged by the program of Microsoft Word in the A4 papers (on side), and each sheds were paged from the 10 to the 20 pages (including its references).
- The text that was written in the Bahasa Indonesia and English should be including the abstract in the English and as contrary with the number of the letter from 150 up to 300. The key words should be describing the whole content of the text minimum three words.
- Abstract and its key words are included; On the abstract, explicitly write in bold: Introduction, objective of the papers, method, findings, and conclusion.
- Attach a data mentioning author’s current profession, postal as well as e-mail/home/office addresses.
- The text will be judged by three criteria such us the validity of the content, the originality, and the relevance of the text with the aim of the journal.
- The text enable to be written in the Indonesia or in English.
- The title of the text must be written explicitly, but give such complete information that describes the content of the text.
- The texts are submitted in OJS historia lately on february (for April edition) and july (for October).
- The confirmation of the texts will be published or not lately two weeks after the texts were received from the email.
- Authors of published articles will get 2 (two) exemplars of the journal. Unpublished articles will not be returned, except on written requests from the author.
- The system of writing:
- Title: (brief, clear and interesting, maximum of 13-15 words, Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information-retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formulae where possible)
- Author names and affiliations: Please clearly indicate the given name(s) and family name(s) of each author and check that all names are accurately spelled. Present the authors' affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower- case superscript letter immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name and, if available, the e-mail address of each author.
- Abstract and its key words. On the abstract, explicitly write in bold: Introduction, objective of the papers, method, findings, and conclusion. A concise and factual abstract is required. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone. For this reason, References should be avoided, but if essential, then cite the author(s) and year(s). Also, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself. Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 6 keywords, using American spelling and avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, 'and', 'of'). Be sparing with abbreviations: only abbreviations firmly established in the field may be eligible. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes. Acknowledgements Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references and do not, therefore, include them on the title page, as a footnote to the title or otherwise. List here those individuals who provided help during the research (e.g., providing language help, writing assistance or proof reading the article, etc.).
- Introduction. State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.
- Methods: Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference: only relevant modifications should be described.
- Results: Results should be clear and concise.
- Discussion: This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

- The conceptual systematic and the result of thinking, scientific-argumentative and logic
- The source of references should be newest literatures (5-10 years last) and ultimately the primer sources such as articles of the research in the journal or scientific magazine or the research reports.
- The list of references (bibliography arranged by following the example bellow, and it should be systemized based of the name of writer alphabetically). The texts bellow are the examples of the source of literature.
