Synergy Between Parents and Teachers in Optimizing Children's Musical Development

Abstract


This research examines the roles of parents and teachers in children's music education, against the background that collaboration between these two parties is essential to support children's optimal musical development. The aim of the study is to understand how emotional and financial support from parents, as well as technical and theoretical guidance from teachers, affect children's success in learning music. The method used was a literature review of relevant studies from the last 10 years. The results show that parental support and effective teacher teaching complement each other, creating a conducive learning environment for children. Good collaboration between parents and teachers not only improves children's musical skills, but also strengthens their motivation, confidence and emotional well-being. In conclusion, effective collaboration between parents and teachers is key to optimizing children's musical potential, with recommendations to develop programs that encourage active parental participation and improve communication between both parties
