Hubungan Antara Motivasi Beprestasi Dengan Prestasi Belajar Berdasarkan Urutan Kelahiran
Abstract
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the low learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 13 Regol, namely as many as 43% of students whose scores are still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). Learning achievement is the result of the interaction between various factors that influence one of them is achievement motivation. Motivation provides a contribution to achieving optimal learning achievement. This study aims to examine the relationship between achievement motivation and learning achievement based on birth order. The research uses a descriptive correlational approach which aims to identify predictive relationships using correlation techniques. Data collection was carried out using an achievement motivation questionnaire. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Regol for the academic year 2019/2020 which consisted of 50 people and consisted of 4 birth orders, namely the eldest, youngest and only child. The data analysis technique used correlational statistics. The research findings are: 1) the achievement motivation of the eldest child, middle child and only child is in the medium category, 2) the learning achievement of the eldest, middle, youngest and only child is in the very good category, 3) there is no significant relationship between achievement motivation with learning achievement based on birth order.
