Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Diri melalui Metode Bermain Peran Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Cibanten

Abstract


In realizing effective learning so that students can easily learn or achieve the desired learning outcomes, a student must have self-confidence. This is because in the learning process students have to do activities that show a confident attitude, such as giving opinions, answering questions, and presenting in front of the class. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of playing a role in increasing self-confidence and knowing the increase in self-confidence of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Cibanten. This study uses a qualitative approach with research methods classroom action research design model Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. This study lasted for 4 cycles and found that role playing activities can increase the self-confidence of fifth graders at SD Negeri 2 Cibanten. The data shows that students experience development in the first cycle as much as 54%. In cycle II the percentage of success rate shows 36% of students have reached the level of success. In cycle III the percentage of success rate shows 61% of students have reached the level of success. And in cycle IV the percentage of success rate shows 79% of students have reached the level of success. The increase in each cycle was caused by students who were already accustomed to role playing activities, so that students' self-confidence increased in each cycle. This study suggests that teachers use the role-playing method in learning activities at school according to the material being studied.
