Pembelajaran Sains Anak Usia 4-6 Tahun melalui Eksperimen Lilin Penghisap

Abstract


Science learning for children prioritizes providing real experiences. For this reason, it is necessary to help develop children's skills so that children are able to recognize and understand the nature around them. One of them is by carrying out a suction candle experiment, which is an experiment which in practice will produce an exothermic chemical reaction involving fire and oxygen around it. This article aims to see the reactions of children aged 4, 5 and 6 years regarding this experiment, and what aspects can be stimulated during learning. The experiment was carried out 2 times, in the first experiment without alcohol and in the second experiment using alcohol. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research. The research was conducted at the Grand Harmoni 2 Balaraja Housing Complex, Banten. The aim of this research is to find out how the sucking candle experiment can develop various aspects of children's development. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained are that the suction candle experiment can develop aspects of early childhood development in every step taken.
