The Integration of Leadership In Basketball Learning through The Sport Education Model
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in developing leadership in basketball learning using SEM. By integrating leadership, one of the structured and intentional sports values applied in the learning model, students will gain more value, sports players will gain positive benefits. The instrument in this study uses the Identity leadership Inventory (ILI) assessment with a simple experimental method with a pre-test and pot-test design with random design 87 people with random sampling techniques in two experimental groups, respectively:: 40 people in the SEM group with leadership content (SEM MK) and 40 people SEM without leadership content (SEMTMK). . The results of data analysis based on independent t-test hypothesis test p value 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the study show that there is a significant difference in leadership development between intentionally structured SEM with leadership content and structured SEM without leadership content. The conclusion is that the effect of structured and intentional SEM with leadership content is better in providing an increase in leadership development of students in basketball learning.
