Penggunaan Media Komik dalam Keterampilan Menulis Laporan
Abstract
This study focused on knowing the use of comic media in report writing skills. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of report writing skills using comic media. This research was conducted because basically in the education unit level curriculum, fifth grade students are required to be able to write reports, more than that there is no evidence data about the use of comic media in report writing skills. This research method uses pre-experiment with research one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was class V in Bantarkalong Elementary School with a total of 20 students. The main instrument used by researchers is assignment in the form of writing report text. Data analysis performed is quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel 2016, and SPSS 16.0 for windows. The findings of the study showed that the results of the average report on the pre-test were 23.8 while the average results post-test were 32.5. This shows that there is an increase in writing reports through comic media. Hypothesis test results on gain using the SPSS application Paired sample t test known significance of 0.00 and using the mean different is known to be 12.6 between the results of the pre-test and post-test . Thus the average difference results post-test is higher than the results, pre-test so that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, which means the skill of writing a report on the Indonesian language learning using comics media better than learning that does not use comic media.
