PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MATERI INTERAKSI SOSIAL BERBASIS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INVESTIGASI KELOMPOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL

Abstract


This study aims to develop teaching materials for fifth-grade social studies based on the group investigation model to enhance students' social skills. The research adopts the Design and Development (D&D) method by Richey and Klein, employing the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The teaching materials focus on interactive activities, including discussions and group tasks, to foster collaboration and communication among students.The validation process involved three experts: a material expert, a teaching material expert, and a learning expert. Results showed a high feasibility score: material expert (94.5%), media expert (76%), and learning expert (95.7%), with an average of 88.7%, categorized as "excellent." These materials include content on the definition of social interaction, types, and its effects on the environment. Designed as modules, they integrate illustrations, engaging layouts, and activities that promote group collaboration and critical thinking. This research highlights the importance of using structured and engaging teaching materials to address challenges in social studies learning, especially during remote learning periods. The study concludes that the developed teaching materials are highly suitable for fostering social skills in elementary school students, aligning with the cognitive development theories of Piaget and Skinner, emphasizing interactive and analytical learning processes.
