Journal History

International Journal of Education is the first international journal focusing exclusively on education published and managed by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Initiated by the Rector of UPI (2015-2017), Prof. Furqon, M.A., Ph.D. along with his colleagues, the journal has until recently published scholarly articles on education for 8 (eight) volumes.

The journal was managed and organized by Korean Language Education Study Program (FPBS UPI) for a certain period of time.

Currently, the International Journal of Education (IJE) of UPI is managed by the team specially appointed by the Rector of UPI to manage and develop UPI's journals. Under the guidance of the Vice Rector for Research, Partnership, and Business, the journal is now published regularly three times a year, every February and August.
