PENGARUH MORDAN TAWAS, TUNJUNG, DAN KAPUR TOHOR TERHADAP HASIL ECOPRINT MENGGUNAKAN DARU (HIBISCUS TILACEUS L) PADA BAHAN KATUN TOYOBO FODU MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK HAMMERING

Abstract

This research was motivated by the use of hibiscus leaves (Hibiscus Tiliaceus L) to make motifs using hammering techniques with the help of mordant and fixator. The aim of this research is to describe the names of colors, clarity of motif shapes, and fastness to washing of ecoprint results using hammering techniques using hibiscus leaves on Toyobo Fodu cotton.
This type of research is experimental research with the research object being toyobo fodu cotton material using ecoprint with a hammering technique on waru (hibiscus tilaceus L) leaves with alum, tunjung and quicklime mordant. The type of data in this research is primary data with data collection techniques using orgonoleptic tests and research instruments in the form of questionnaires distributed to 15 authors. The data analysis technique uses frequency percentages and data analysis uses the SPSS program (SPSS (statistical product and service solutions) version 25.0.)
From the results of the experiment, it can be concluded that the ecoprint results on Toyobo Fodu cotton using hibiscus leaves (hibiscul tilaceus L) without mordant, alum, tunjung and quicklime produce a variety of colors. The results of the clarity of the form of the ecoprint motif without mordant were 86% of panelists who said it was clear, 53.3% of panelists said it was clear with mordant alum and quicklime, and 60% of panelists said it was clear with mordant Tunjung.
The results of the Friedman k-related test for color fastness to washing using alum mordant, tunjung and quicklime produced the same results, namely 0.000 <0.05, meaning there was a significant difference from the ecoprint results of waru leaves.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pemanfaatan daun waru (Hibiscus Tiliaceus L) untuk membuat motif menggunakan dengan teknik hammering dengan bantuan mordan dan fiksator. Tujuan dari peneltian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nama warna, kejelasan bentuk motif, dan ketahanan luntur terhadap pencucian terhadap hasil ecoprint teknik hammering menggunakan daun waru pada bahan katun toyobo fodu.
Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan objek penelitian berupa bahan katun toyobo fodu menggunakan ecoprint dengan teknik hammering pada daun waru (hibiscus tilaceus L) dengan mordan tawas, tunjung, dan kapur tohor. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan uji orgonoleptik dan intrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan ke penelis sebanyak 15 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan presentase frekuensi dan analisis data menggunakan program SPSS (SPSS (statistical product and service solutions) versi 25.0.)
Dari hasil ekperimen dapat disimpulkan hasil ecoprint pada bahan katun toyobo fodu menggunakan daun waru (hibiscul tilaceus L) dengan tanpa mordan, tawas, tunjung, dan kapur tohor menghasilkan warna yang beragam. Hasil kejelasan bentuk motif ecoprint tanpa mordan 86% panelis menyatakan jelas, mordan tawas dan kapur tohor 53,3% panelis menyatakan jelas, dan mordan tunjung 60% panelis menyatakan cukup jelas.
Hasil uji friedman k-related ketahanan luntur warna terhadap pencucian menggunakan mordan tawas, tunjung, dan kapur tohor menghasilkan hasil yang sama yaitu 0,000 <0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil ecoprint daun waru.
