PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT (TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT) TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK SISWA ASRAMA KELAS VII
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of cooperative learning model TGT and conventional learning models to motivate student learning and motor skills, method used is the pretest-posttest control group design using random assignment method. The study population was a boarding student of class VII boarding school PERS/S Tarogong Garut amounted to 30 students by using total sampling technique and timing of research over 12 meetings, every week to do research as much as three days. The results of this research trials using Manova test (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) with SPSS 16. Based on a series of hypothesis testing average physical education learning motivation given TGT cooperative learning model of 14.875 is greater than the average students' motivation given the conventional learning model which is equal to 5.25. Likewise for the average motor skills of students who are given a model of cooperative learning TGT by 6.68 1 higher than the average motor skills of students who are given conventional learning model which is equal to 4.648. So TGT cooperative learning model is better than conventional learning models to motivate learning and motor skills class VII student dormitory at boarding PERSIS Tarogong Garut regency in physical education lessons.
