Perspektif Overtourism di Kawasan Wisata Canggu: Indentifikasi Canggu diantara Euphoria dan Annoyance

Abstract
The Canggu paradigm leads to overtourism by (a) Traffic in Canggu (b) competition for human resources; (c) waste disposal that hasn’t handled properly; (d) crime and violence often occur between tourists and local people in Canggu. A disharmonious relationship between guests and hosts as an accumulation of the turmoil of Canggu tourism development. This aims to identify the position of the Canggu tourism area in the perspective of overtourism as measured by the irritation index.
This research uses descriptive statistical techniques with likert on the perception between Hosts and guests with 6 measuring aspects. The location is centered on 3 coastal tourism areas in Canggu, (1) Batu Bolong Beach area, (2) Batu Mejan Village, and (3) Berawa Village, Tibubeneng.
The interactions formed are (1) The host who receive benefits will certainly provide a positive response and support the development of tourism in Canggu. Although there are still people who don’t get any benefits and tend to oppose and be apathetic about the development of Canggu tourism. Likewise, (2) the perception of guests on average gives a fairly good perception of the development of Canggu including the social interactions formed within it. So this pattern indicates that there is an apathetic relationship between guests and hosts as an accumulation of the turmoil of the development of Canggu touris
