KONTRIBUSI KINERJA MANAJERIAL KEPALA DAN KINERJA KOMITE TERHADAP MUTU SD NEGERI DI KECAMATAN JATIWANGI

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi kinerja manajerial kepala dan kinerja komite terhadap mutu SD Negeri di Kecamatan Jatiwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasinya sejumlah 41 sekolah yang terdiri dari 41 kepala sekolah dan 471 guru. Sampel diambil dengan Probability Samples teknik Proportionate Random Sampling dan diperoleh 41 kepala sekolah dan 161 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara, data yang terkumpul selanjutnya diolah dengan teknik korelasi dan regresi linier juga berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel kinerja manajerial kepala (X1), kinerja komite (X2) dan mutu (Y) SD Negeri di Kecamatan Jatiwangi dalam kategori baik. Variabel X1 berkontribusi terhadap Y, variabel X2 berkontribusi terhadap Y, dan secara simultan X1 dan X2 berkontribusi terhadap variabel Y. Adapun rekomendasi dari penelitian ini: 1) Kepala Sekolah harus lebih memahami dan melaksanakan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran dan manajemen sekolah. 2) Komite sekolah hendaknya meningkatkan perannya dalam menyerap aspirasi, ide, gagasan dari masyarakat untuk kemajuan sekolah.

The purpose of this study is to determine how much contribution of the principals managerial performance and school committee's performance towards the Public Primary School Quality at Kecamatan Jatiwangi. This research uses descriptive method and quantitative approach. The population in this study are 41 schools, consisting of 41 principals and 471 teachers. Samples were taken with Probability Samples with Proportionate Random Sampling technique and obtained 41 principals and 161 teachers. Questionnaires technique and interview was used to collecting data, and processed by correlation and linear regression techniques. The results showed that general depiction of the performance of managerial principals, school committee performance and quality of public primary schools at kecamatan Jatiwangi are at good category. X1 variables contribute to the Y, X2 contribute to Y, and simultaneously X1 and X2 contribute to variable Y. The recommendation from this study are: 1) The Principal must better understand and implement the use of information technology in teaching and school management. 2) The school committee should play an increasing role in absorbing aspirations, ideas from the community for the better school.
