Pengaruh Permainan Tradisional Engklek Terhadap Self Control Siswa Di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan self control pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Rendahnya self control pada siswa Sekolah Dasar ditandai dengan kenakalan ringan sampai mengarah kepada perilaku dekstruktif. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut yaitu melalui permainan tradisional engklek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh permainan tradisional engklek terhadap self control siswa di Sekolah Dasar.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kelas VI SD Negeri 4 Gunungtanjung. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen, desain penelitian pre-eksperiment design, dan bentuk design one group pretest-posttest design. Dalam pengumpulan data, teknik yang digunakan yaitu teknik non-tes berupa angket self control scale. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan program Microsoft Excel 2013 dan program SPSS 25. Hasil kemampuan self control siswa pada pretest dengan rata-rata skor 46,72. Sedangkan pada posttest dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 70,50. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu permainan tradisional engklek berpengaruh terhadap self control siswa di Sekolah Dasar.

ABSTRACT

This research is motivated by the low self-control ability of elementary school students. The low self-control in elementary school students is characterized by mild delinquency that leads to destructive behavior. One of the efforts that can be done to overcome this is through the traditional engklek game. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the traditional engklek game on students' self-control in elementary schools. This research was conducted in Class VI SD Negeri 4 Gunungtanjung. The research was conducted using an experimental method, a pre-experimental research design, and a one-group pretest-posttest design. In data collection, the technique used is a non-test technique in the form of a self-control scale questionnaire. Analysis of the data used in the form of quantitative data analysis using the Microsoft Excel 2013 program and the SPSS 25 program. The results of students' self-control abilities on the pretest with an average score of 46.72. While the posttest with an average score of 70.50. The result of this research is that the traditional engklek game has an effect on students' self-control in elementary schools.
