Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Global Analytical Global (GAG) training method in improving dribbling skills in children aged 11-12 years enrolled in the Putra Angkasa Football School (SSB). Children at this age are experiencing rapid physical and motor development, which is crucial for mastering fundamental football techniques such as dribbling. The GAG method integrates analytical and practical elements, creating a holistic approach that is relevant in dynamic game situations. The study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups, involving 40 players divided into experimental and control groups, with three months of training. The data were analysed using paired and unpaired t-tests to evaluate the development of dribbling performance. The results showed that the GAG method was significantly more effective in improving dribbling skills than the conventional training method.
