PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW MELALUI LINGKUNGAN SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DAN DISIPLIN SISWA
Abstract
The purpose of this study was motivated by the problems obtained when researchers conducted observations in Cimalaka III Elementary School, teachers did not use learning models, learning media and learning resources used by teachers only using the textbooks. Whereas viewed from the environment around the school can be used as a good learning resource for learning material to be taught. Based on the preliminary data obtained, only 5 out of 21 students completed or achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) which was determined, namely 75. In addition, students' disciplinary attitudes when the learning process took place seemed less conducive and unfocused in group learning activities. This is due to the performance of teachers who are less creative and innovative. From the presentation, a learning plan was prepared to solve existing problems using the Jigsaw cooperative model through the environment as a learning resource. This study aims to improve and improve the results of student learning and discipline in the material types of work in class IV B. The research method used by researchers is Class Action Research (CAR) conducted in III cycles. The design of this study refers to the research design of Kemmis and Taggart which consists of four steps, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, interview sheets, field notes, and tests. After conducting research by applying this type of Jigsaw cooperative learning model, the results of student learning and discipline in the material types of work experienced a significant increase.
