PENGARUH METODE SNOWBALL THROWING BERBANTUAN MEDIA POP UP BOOK KEANEKARAGAMAN BUDAYA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS IV SDN GUNUNGSARI

Abstract


The learning methods applied in many schools, such as the lecture method, are often less effective and make students passive, so that learning outcomes are not optimal. Many students get grades below the standard of learning completeness. One solution that can increase the effectiveness of learning is the snowball throwing method which actively involves students in the learning process through fun and interactive games, in addition to using interesting learning media such as pop up books which can help students understand the material better and make the process easier. teaching and learning becomes more interesting. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the snowball throwing method assisted by pop up book media to determine learning outcomes. The treatment instrument in this study used a class IV teaching module on cultural diversity, while the research instrument used a pre-test and post-test. Data collection was carried out using multiple choice tests. Data analysis in this study used the paired sample t test. The results of data analysis obtained the average value of student learning outcomes for the control class pre-test with an average score of (59.75) while the control class post-test used the snowball throwing method without pop up book (74.00) and the average student learning outcomes for the experimental class pre-test obtained an average score of (63.75) with the experimental class post-test using the snowball throwing method assisted by pop up book media obtained an average score of (85.50)
