Kepemimpinan Dosen dan Kecerdasan Emosional Untuk Meningkatkan Keterlibatan Belajar Mahasiswa Akuntansi UNSAP

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kepemimpinan dosen, kecerdasan emosional dan keterlibatan mahasiswa serta pengaruh kepemimpinan dosen dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap keterlibatan mahasiswa Akuntansi angkatan 2018-2021 UNSAP Sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan grand teori Theory Construktivisme, tentang keterlibatan belajar mahasiswa.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 204 orang dari seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 419  mahasiswa Akuntansi UNSAP Sumedang. Sampel menggunakan Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Regresi Linier Multipel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dosen dan kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa berpengaruh positif terhadap keterlibatan belajar mahasiswa. Dengan demikian semakin tinggi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kepemimpinan dosen dan kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi keterlibatan belajar mahasiswa. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kepemimpinan dosen harus meningkatkan indikator kepemimpinan secara pragmatis melalui analisis penggunaan model maupun media pembelajaran agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan secara efektif.  Demikian juga untuk kecerdasan emosional harus meningkatkan indikator kontrol diri siswa melalui konseling bersama siswa. Pada student engagement indikator yang perlu ditingkatkan  indikator kognitif dapat melalui pembelajaran asinkronus yang nantinya harus disampaikan di depan kelas.
