Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Cello Grade 1 Berbasis Lagu Anak Indonesia di SMP Matius Bina Bakti Bandung

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar cello yang berfokus pada lagu-lagu anak Indonesia grade 1 dalam pembelajaran cello. Bahan ajar ini merupakan perluasan dari materi yang terdapat dalam buku bahan ajar cello Suzuki volume 1 dan Dotzauer, yang telah dikenal sebagai referensi utama dalam pembelajaran cello. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Dalam proses pengembangannya, peneliti menetapkan lima indikator penilaian yang mencakup tempo, intonasi, teknik bow dinamika dan tone quality. Hasil penelitian dari bahan ajar cello berbasis lagu anak Indonesia grade 1 dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain cello siswa khususnya pada indikator tone quality dan intonasi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa bahan ajar dengan lagu anak Indonesia yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bermain cello siswa di SMP Matius Bina Bakti Bandung. Selain memberikan pengalaman musik yang lebih bermakna, lagu-lagu anak Indonesia juga memungkinkan siswa untuk lebih terhubung dengan kultur dan identitas musik Indonesia. Ini memiliki dampak positif tidak hanya pada keterampilan teknis siswa dalam bermain cello, tetapi juga pada pemahaman mereka tentang musik lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan kurikulum pembelajaran musik di sekolah, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran cello. Dengan menggabungkan elemen-elemen lokal, seperti lagu anak Indonesia, dengan seperti yang terdapat dalam bahan ajar cello Suzuki, penelitian ini membuka jalan bagi pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih beragam dan inklusif di bidang musik.
