Mengembangkan Kognitif Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Melalui Permainan Sains
Abstract
Growth and development are very important for early childhood. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of science games on the cognitive development of young children, especially children aged 5-6 years. In this research, the method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The subjects in the research carried out were children aged 5-6 years. In the research, the data bases used are Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (POP). The research results show that there are 2 games that can develop the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years, including: (1) color mixing game, the results obtained in cycle II have increased compared to cycle I with an average completion percentage value reaching 90%; (2) rain game, the results obtained in cycle II were that most of the children had gone through the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) stage and some were Developing Very Well (BSB). So it can be concluded that through color mixing games and rain games can develop the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years.
